We invite you to spend your time with us on the Highland Lassie. She is a converted Scottish fishing boat offering a comfortable stay on the Caledonian Canal near Loch Ness. This is a very special place to stay that will make your Highland break memorable!
The Highland Lassie offers four cabins, all with a double bed and ensuite facilities. There are two cabins above deck, and two below, each with their own fridge and access to Wi-Fi. Should you need it, access to a tablet can be made available for your stay so you can keep in touch with the outside world.
Our portside cabin, Sunart offers splendid views of the River Ness and Caledonian Canal. Boasting 6 windows, you’ll get a grand view of the water and its wild inhabitants. You’ll find tea & coffee making facilities to give you a boost before you set off to explore our landscape. With an en-suite shower room, complimentary Arran Aromatic toiletries and fluffy towels, you can be sure you’ll have everything you need to unwind at the end of the day.
Through five windows, residents of our Alsh cabin enjoy views across the towpath and along the Caledonian Canal. Sporting an extremely comfortable double bed, you’re bound to get a great night’s sleep bobbing along on the water. With en-suite facilities and complimentary tea and coffee, you have everything you need to make sure your holiday in the Scottish Highlands get off to the best start.
Below-deck Cabins: Coming Soon!
Soon, we’ll be able to welcome bookings for our two brand new cabins below deck. Offering all the facilities you would expect from a floating hotel, they will offer a cosy alternative to typical bedrooms. Rest assured, all the facilities you would hope for – ensuite, tea & coffee facilities, double bed and Wi-Fi – will be ready and waiting for you.
